Rainbow Club started in 2023 when Vicky decided to start her own after school club and holiday camp. Vicky and all the staff have many years of experience in the childcare sector and they noticed a decline in good quality, honest childcare in the area.

We like to create a calm yet exciting atmosphere for our children, but part of being a child is to get messy! Most days we will have the paints out, sprinkling glitter, all in the name of creativity. We like to create a calm yet exciting atmosphere for our children, but part of being a child is to get messy! Most days we will have the paints out, sprinkling glitter, all in the name of creativity. Children's imagination is amazing & we're often blown away with what children can make with a pair of scissor's - glue stick & card. The list is endless.
For those who decide craft isn't for them, Then we have plenty of other options such as reading, puzzles, role play, den making, outdoor play plus much more. We welcome the children's ideas and will often try them out making them feel included in decision making & seeing what works and what doesn't.

We are very lucky that we have a newly built play park within a few hundred yards from our setting, We also have a smaller enclosed area & a huge field. What we can do outdoors is endless. In the drier months we are outside as much as possible to make sure children are experincing the delights of our local area, treasure hunting, playing

In the drier months we are outside as much as possible to make sure children are experincing the delights of our local area, treasure hunting, playing with chalks, playing a group game of bulldog or rounders. Equally we make sure that children who prefer playing in smaller groups are catered for by providing other outdoor toys, reading books, outdoor crafts.

Staff are trained to the highest of standards at Rainbow club. Some of our students who are here to learn the ropes, Others are parents and have a life time of experience . One thing we make sure is that staff fit into our club and not the other way around. Our children are comfortable with staff and will happily come to them with a list
