Child Care We Offer

After school pick up is offered to those who need it. At present we are collecting from five of the local schools in & around Bradley stoke. Places are limited so we advise you book early. 

Children are encouraged to sit & eat a snack whilst they unwind. Each table is often mixed so that children can extend their social circle and make new friends. Once finished, children can have free play or take part in homework study. From spellings to maths, to just wanting to read to our lovely staff. This is what our parents have asked for as many don't have the time during weekdays to catch up with their children's school work. As we aren't teachers, we won't provide the children with homework.

We encourage children to be as independent as possible. Children at Rainbow club often like to help out with the washing up, making snacks, etc. This will be allowed with adult supervision. HOWEVER, we do not allow children to do RISK play in terms of using wood planking, tools, making fires, etc. The children thrive when they're in a routine with rules and guidance. We will often ask children to put their ideas forward for free play so they feel a valued member of Rainbow Club. 

We have been asked by parents to open as a holiday club to bridge the gap of limited childcare during school holidays. So with that in mind we have decided to open from 8am to 6pm weekdays. We are limited to how many children we can take each half term so please bare this in mind.

Ad - hoc bookings can be provided with advanced booking. This is to make sure that we maintain the ratios and to make sure we have spaces on the day. We understand that sometimes this is a spare of the moment thing / emergencies has happened so please do call us and we will try our best to help you. 

Snacks will be on offer everyday during term times & half term. However, you will need to provide lunch for your child during the school holidays. We ask that you know what is in your child's packed lunch as we are a NO NUT setting.
